The Grand Spa uses all-natural and paraben-free products in all of our treatments, as well as our retail offerings. Try our Swedish, Ashiatsu, or Hot Stone massages with a decadent Om Aroma & Co. organic signature facial to ease your weary body and mind.

All Grand Spa services are traditionally booked a la carte. If you desire multiple treatments, our staff is trained to offer suggestions and accommodate your needs.

The Grand Spa is conveniently located across the street from Gondola Square, on the lobby level of the Steamboat Grand Resort Hotel.

Winter Season: Daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
Summer Season: The Grand Spa will be closed April 10 - May 1, 2011. May 2 - May 30, 2011, The Grand Spa hours are 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Thursday through Monday. May 31 - August 29, 2011, The Grand Spa will be open daily from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

All guests of the Grand Spa have complimentary use of the fitness center facilities during the day of their spa appointments. This includes the use of the dry sauna, eucalyptus steam room, outdoor pool, two large outdoor hot tubs, personal lockers, gender-specific changing rooms, showers and fitness equipment. Appropriate clothing is needed if you are planning on working out (including closed toed shoes) or swimming.

We request that you give us 24 hour notice if you need to cancel or you will be responsible for the full charge of your treatment. “No Shows” will be charged the full price of the treatment scheduled. To reschedule an appointment, we ask for at least 6 hours notice otherwise we will charge a fee of 20% of the booked treatment price.

Gratuities are not included in the treatment rates, but in appreciation to the staff for outstanding services they may be given at your discretion. 15% to 20% is customary.

Reservations can be made online or by calling the spa desk at 970-871-5514. To ensure that you receive your preferred treatments, we recommend booking as far in advance as possible. Gender specific requests will be honored if possible, however specific therapist requests can only be honored if the specific therapist is scheduled on that date and time.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to fill out your paperwork. If you are late, time will be deducted from your treatment in order to allow the next guest to start on time.

Feel free to wear whatever you are comfortable in to come to the spa. Robes are provided in the closet of every hotel room, but street clothes are certainly acceptable as well. Time is provided for you to change in your treatment room prior to receiving your service.

Please leave your valuables at home or in your room. The Grand Spa is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

We are a non-smoking facility.

We encourage you to keep an open line of communication with your therapist or esthetician during your treatment to ensure that you receive your ideal service. For example please feel free to let your massage therapist know if the pressure if too hard, not hard enough, etc.
